Have you ever wondered how to host a truly unforgettable gathering, without a drop of alcohol?
You’re not alone.
As the founder of To Be Honest Beverage Co., I’ve seen firsthand how modern celebrations are evolving. People are craving connection, intention, and experiences that feel good the next day, not just another round of drinks.
That’s why I’m so excited to invite you to join me at the Sober Summit, a free online event designed to help you rethink what it means to host, celebrate, and connect, alcohol optional.
If you’re ready to elevate your hosting game and create gatherings that feel vibrant, inclusive, and deeply memorable, this is your moment.

Why Sober Hosting Matters
Let’s be honest: the best parties aren’t about cocktails, they’re about people.
Yet for so many hosts, alcohol feels like a default requirement. Hosting without it can feel intimidating, awkward, or even isolating. The Sober Summit exists to change that narrative.
This free, virtual event is for anyone who is sober, sober-curious, or simply interested in hosting with more intention. It’s about showing what’s possible when we move beyond old rules and create celebrations rooted in connection, creativity, and presence.
At this year’s Sober Summit, I’ll be leading a session called “The Art of Sober Hosting,” where I share practical tools and real-life strategies to help you host gatherings that feel just as elevated, if not more so, without alcohol.

What You’ll Learn in The Art of Sober Hosting
Hosting is an art, and it’s never been more exciting to reinvent the rules.
In my Sober Summit session, you’ll learn how to:
Create an inclusive, alcohol-free atmosphere: Learn how lighting, scent, music, and intentional design set the tone before the first guest arrives, so everyone feels welcome, relaxed, and seen.
Serve elevated zero-proof drinks that truly wow: I’ll walk you through crafting sophisticated, alcohol-free cocktails using bold botanicals, fresh herbs, vibrant garnishes, and functional ingredients like hemp-infused spirits. No boring soda water, just celebratory flavor.
Design gatherings that spark connection: From curated playlists to thoughtful conversation starters, you’ll learn how to create a sensory experience that encourages presence and authentic connection.
Navigate guests who drink with grace and confidence: Get practical scripts and strategies for honoring your boundaries while making everyone feel comfortable, no awkward explanations required.
Create meaningful alternatives to traditional toasts: Who says celebration requires champagne? I’ll share creative ways to mark milestones, from ritual mocktail pours to shared affirmations and intentional moments.

My Story: From Wellness to Sober Celebration
I stepped away from alcohol in 2022, not because I had to, but because I wanted more clarity, energy, and intention in my life.
What surprised me most wasn’t what I lost, but what I gained.
My celebrations became richer. Conversations deepened. Hosting felt more meaningful and aligned. That journey ultimately inspired me to create To Be Honest Beverage Co., a brand dedicated to luxury, functional spirit alternatives designed for modern rituals and mindful living.
At the Sober Summit, I’ll share my story openly, no judgment, no pressure. Just honest conversation about redefining celebration on your own terms.
If you’ve ever felt like the “odd one out” at a gathering, or wondered how to make alcohol-free events feel just as special, this session is for you.
Let’s Redefine Celebration, Together
Choosing sober or alcohol-optional hosting isn’t about restriction.
It’s about possibility.
It’s about creativity, intention, and honoring how you want to feel, before, during, and after your gatherings.
“You are the main character of your drinking experience,” I often say. “We’re not here to be an afterthought at the party. We’re here to change the culture, beautifully, boldly, and without shame.”
What Makes a Gathering Feel Elevated Without Alcohol
Elevated hosting has never been about what’s in the glass, it’s about how the experience feels.
When alcohol is removed from the equation, something interesting happens: intention takes its place. Every choice becomes more thoughtful. Every detail carries weight. And that’s where true elegance lives.
Here’s what actually makes a gathering feel refined, memorable, and beautifully considered, without relying on alcohol.
Thoughtful glassware and ice: Presentation sets the tone before the first sip. Using real glassware, coupe glasses, lowballs, or flutes, signals that what you’re serving matters. Clear ice, oversized cubes, or even a single perfectly shaped sphere elevate a zero-proof drink instantly. These small visual cues communicate care and sophistication.
One signature zero-proof drink: Instead of overwhelming guests with options, choose one beautifully crafted signature mocktail. This creates cohesion and confidence. When the host is intentional, guests relax. A thoughtfully designed zero-proof drink, especially one built around bold botanicals like Focus, feels curated, not compensatory.
Intentional pacing of the evening: Alcohol often dictates the rhythm of a party. Without it, you get to. Welcome guests with a light, refreshing pour. Let conversation unfold naturally. Transition the evening with music, candlelight, or a change in energy rather than another round. Slower pacing encourages deeper connection and presence.
Small rituals that anchor the experience: Ritual creates meaning. A welcome pour when guests arrive. A collective toast using a zero-proof cocktail. A closing moment, perhaps a shared affirmation, gratitude circle, or final intentional sip. These moments replace habit with purpose and turn a gathering into something people remember.
Sober hosting isn’t about subtraction, it’s about elevation.
When every element is chosen with care, alcohol becomes optional, not essential. And the result is a gathering that feels grounded, elegant, and unmistakably intentional.
Three Signature Focus Mocktails for Elevated Sober Hosting
A single, beautifully crafted mocktail signals care, confidence, and creativity, and invites guests into the experience rather than overwhelming them with choices. These three Focus mocktails were designed specifically for elevated, alcohol-optional gatherings.
Each one is balanced, botanical, and easy to execute at scale.

2 oz Focus
1½ oz fresh cucumber juice
½ oz fresh lemon juice
¼ oz simple syrup (optional, to taste)
Fresh rosemary sprig
Clear ice
How to Make
Add Focus, cucumber juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup (if using) to a shaker with ice.
Shake gently for 8–10 seconds.
Strain into a chilled coupe or stemmed glass over fresh ice.

2. The Golden Pear

2 oz Focus
1½ oz pear nectar or unsweetened pear juice
¼ oz fresh lemon juice
1 dash cinnamon tincture or a brief cinnamon stick infusion
Orange peel
Large clear ice cube
